NYC: “In Progress” will present its new party theme “Elegantly Wasted”

This Friday, June 29th, 2007, "In Progress" will present its new party theme "Elegantly Wasted"
at the Vault Club, in Lower East Side.

Inspired by the Vault's Romanesque archways, exquisite brick arched ceilings, original bank safe doors, private areas, and the heart-bumping state of the art sound system, "Elegantly Wasted" aims at bringing
back the decadency of New York nightlife scene from the early 80's.

"Elegantly Wasted"maintains Deeperspirits fundamental principle of multicultural collaboration while amping the and spectrum of sounds, expanding onto styles of funk, jazz, blues, ethnic, even a dose of classical. All within universal spirit of electronic sound. The product is a true unconventional incorporation that the universal application of Electronica, House, and Techno music.

In Progress Sessions headlining DJ Velizar along with resident Yohei Nishiyama and Datguy's Tony (Baroque Records) will take you on an experimental 7hr Dj epic journey of electric, soulful, quirky, chunky, funky, minimal, atmospheric, anthemic, eccentric musical contrasts, and the beautiful drama in between them.

In addition, "Elegantly Wasted" debuts with Comandante Zero, a Brooklyn based bass/drum laptop musician minimal, apocalyptically dark electro. In the past two years they performed in NYC, London and Berlin. They are also known for creating unique live shows that incorporate modern dance with heavy grooves. See below for the dancers’ bios.

We are all very excited about this event and are looking forward to share our experience with all of you this Friday night.
